The Attakkalari Media Lab houses the latest editing hardware and software. The equipment will be subsidized for the performing arts community and young filmmakers in order to make technology more accessible and to improve the quality of the resulting products.

The short term goal of the lab will be to cater to the students of Attakkalari’s Diploma in Movement Arts and Mixed Media. In the long term, the Attakkalari Media Lab aims to be a competitive player in the editing market.

The lab will be funded by the Attakkalari Centre for Movement Arts and operated by TransMedia Technologies.
